Triathletes urged to commit

by Sooke News Mirror

A last minute rush is definitely better than no rush, but John Bothelo of the Sooke International Half-Iron and Sprint Triathlons craves a little more of a sustained flow of entrants to the event set for July 22.

“We still have about two full weeks of registration available,” said Bothelo on Friday.

“People always register at the last minute, it’s unbelievable.”

“We’ve got to pre-order shirts and everything else,” added the PR specialist who indicated about 200 participants are expected for the test which is set to make it’s debut on Sunday, July 22.

Keep these points in mind if you’ve been thinking of taking part.
