Paintings by Craig Bauer Arrive for Stay at the Inn
by Lori LeCountOcean Wilderness Inn is proud to announce the arrival of some very special visitors for an extended stay: six original landscape paintings, by Victoria artist Craig Bauer.
Innkeepers Andy & Lori met Craig at the recent ‘Art in the Park’ fair in Sooke. Craig's paintings drew their attention with their sweeping natural forms and vibrant color. Craig and his partner, Melinda (also an artist), accepted our invitation to come and experience a stay at Ocean Wilderness. They found a simple, vibrant retreat, which spoke to them, as Craig's paintings spoke to us.
Over a glass or so of wine, we discussed having some of Craig's paintings available for sale at the inn. He agreed to let us enjoy several paintings. Now visiting the inn, and available for sale are:
Active Pass View from Ferry,
Island Off North Salt Spring,
West Eagle Salt Spring View,
Kelowna and the Lake, andSooke-Whiffen Spit (thumbnail shown here).
We are delighted with these guest paintings. Come and see them soon.
